School-based Sexuality Education Curricula: Are Parents Supportive?

This paper discusses the findings of a study on attitudes Belarusian parents with school-aged children towards school-based sexuality education programs. The aimed to measure parental support for comprehensive (CSE) and its individual components, identify topics age ranges approved by parents, determine which course characteristics are important them. Descriptive statistics binary logistic regression were used evaluate factors that influence introducing in schools. found fairly high share 60.6% supportive introduction CSE, despite low satisfaction awareness current information presented Parents median 13.3 years as minimum CSE curriculum.
